A huge group of fans was waiting at airport in Wroclaw for Bywater CT team that has just came from a very successful Volta ao Porto. The team, that two weeks ago barely went over the Zyte Division cutoff line and had to race hard till the last day to meet signup requirements, now found itself in the middle of Top Division table. This was surprising to team management, that decided it is too early to go that high and the team should concentrate on earning money during rest of the season, dropping back to Zyte Division to race Volta next season again.
The fans apparently didn't share this view. The banners they held were full of words like "We want Germany!", "Race or die" and so on. Fans held the team at the airport not letting them go home. Team manager had no other choice than to make an announcement.
"As we once said nearly a season ago, we are not and never will be bloody accountants. We are a sports team and will behave like one. Because of this we decided to take what we get and compete in Top Division. I guess this is quite good news for everyone who wants to compete in next season's Volta ao Porto."
Later in the evening racing plans for next few weeks were announced. Morgan Arendse will complete his last two races in Chile and Belgium and will look for new team after his contract runs out. Then time of Top Division races will come. Riyad Hashim will race in Chennai-Pondicherry and Skien-Kristiansand races before he goes to Perm to try to repeat his SC win from Porto. In the meantime climbers led by Kasper Czechowski will look for results on the roads well known to them - in Porto-Castelo Branco race, moving to Spain after this to race in Madrid-Albacete, before finally rejoining Hashim in Perm.
